  3. Play Wobbly Dot! Wobbly Dot is my latest browser game, a minimalist themed arcade where the goal is to navigate through dangerous mazes. It should be simple enough, except that your avatar is not moving in a straight line There are 30 levels that will test your reflexes. Complete them within the time limit to collect stars, which you can use to unlock more avatar skins. Made with Cocos Creator (and Typescript). Thank you for playing!
  4. Hi, I am working on an HTML5 game and I use Arcade physics as physics system for the game. I am trying to implement a pause button functionality and ran into a problem of choosing which methods to use from the below mentioned methods. They all seem to be similar in functionality and the docs do not contain much further explanations. Can someone please elaborate a little on the functionalities of these methods and mention the difference between them? physics.pause(), physics.resume() scene.launch(), scene.start() scene.pause(), scene.resume(); scene.switch() physics.world.resume(), physics.world.pause()
  5. Hello there. I would like to present me new mobile arcade game city blaster. It is a fun and good looking mobile game. It is very easy to play, just tap the screen to defend your city and citizens. You can download it for free and without adds on the link below. Please tell me what you think. Good luck!https://retrodries.itch.io/city-blaster
  6. Play Wiggly Things in your browser! Wiggly Things is a cute arcade game, where the goal is to feed candies to the things based on their colour, then grow to the target size. As you progress, levels become more difficult. Can you complete all 15 levels and make the online leader-boards? (score is submitted only if you're a registered user) I've made this game in Cocos Creator, coded it in Typescript. Have fun!

  9. We are a duo, i'm the programmer and my associate is in charge of marketing, communication and management. We are about to launch Astrogon, an arcade platformer mobile game. We wanted it to be intuitive and easy to learn but really challenging at the same time. You need to avoid the opposite color, unless you are purple (Purple is like Mario's star). green power-ups give you an extra jump. If you are purple you have an extra jump just by touching a wall and gravity changes. The main plus of this game is the community levels. I made an in game level editor, and users will share their creations and watch people play thanks to a Replay feature. I can't tell how much i love Phaser! It will be compiled with Cordova to be released on mobile. If you want to know more about it, here is the website: www.astrogon.com Thanks.

  13. Hi all!!! ? This time I created another game with my own style (with a very small resolution, colors, ...), where we take control of a man captured by a somewhat bad alien, play with us before eating. You will have to take all the possible coins in case you escape alive and you will be a millionaire (you never escape, but you don't know it ? ). PD: As much as you try, in the end they eat you ? Play from GameJolt!!! LINK: https://gamejolt.com/games/alienbit/458620
  14. StarMines is a space shooter inspired by old classics like Asteroids and Omega Race. You are the spaceship pilot in search of magical Bonusoids which can only be found in the endless starmine fields full of dangers. The more Bonusoids you catch, the better their magical forces make your ship. The game should be playable on mobile with touch controls and desktop with keyboard or mouse. I have even tested it with an LG OLED TV, it works ? On touch devices, there are different options for touch controls which you can choose from the top-right pause menu. The game URL: https://smtng.jpkware.com/ New version on Jan 20, 2019: - music and ship upgrade sound added, reduced overall volume - ask for player name when always when starting a new game, changing name will reset progress - automatic 5 second shield for each 4 Bonusoids collected - more info messages on ship upgrades New game play video with music, and showing the new shield: Screenshots: A couple of YouTube videos: The SM:TNG is my ancient StarMines for Java rebooted using the HTML5 and modern tools: Scala JS and Phaser CE. I think the game is complete enough for public release now, but I'll most likely continue to develop it further in the coming months. Eventually, I plan to make it open source under GPL, unless somebody buys an exclusive license with big money ? All kinds of feedback welcome, for example: Does it work well on your browser? I recommend Chrome on Android and Chrome or Edge on Windows, but it should work OK with other browsers as well. Does it maintain 60fps? You can enable the fps meter on top-left corner with this URL: https://smtng.jpkware.com/#fps What do you think about the different control options? What could be improved? Ideas for new enemies, bonuses or weapons which would fit the theme?
  15. I really like the GitHub Game Off contest, because you have one month and can improve basic ideas. This year's theme is LEAPS AND BOUNDS. I was thinking about something like you have the pinfold with sheep and you should keep sheep from wolves and from escaping. But this idea seemed too complicated, so I changed it. Now the player has lost all the sheep and must collect them again. I already had a library for symbol recognition, so I improved it a bit and adapted it to this game. To find one sheep, you need to draw several characters correctly. I also added a mode in which incorrect input leads to the loss of all found sheep, a kind of rogue-like game component. So, I hope you will enjoy this game You can try game here https://vmikhav.itch.io/keep-your-sheep

  17. Hello there! I'm working with this example (asteroids movement): LINK There is a strange behaviour that blows my brain out. It can be better seen on the attached video. All I've done was a small rotation and then just pressed UP cursor key. As you can see with the help of turned on debugger velocity vector rotates during fly until it reaches bottom-right corner of the bounding box. Also it force ship to fly wrong, it can be noticed even without debugger. Expected that velocity vector to be applied directly to where ship's nose is (or more correctly, ship have to move to the opposite side the engines work vector; see the picture). What can be the solution of this problems? Seems velocityFromRotation() function works not as expected. Or there is something been lost. Best regards, Nick Rimer 2019-11-01 12-02-08.mp4
  18. Hi there! I have released my first game on Kongregate, I've put a lot of efforts into it, and I can't figure out now - why it has so low rating? My only guess is that initially it was too hard and players who couldn't walk through the first levels have evaluated the game low. And now I'm working on it, trying to make game less hardcore. But maybe there are some other issues? https://www.kongregate.com/games/Trobing/batty-the-bat
  19. https://apollinaria-felix.itch.io/climbing-on-the-trees An interesting mix of the endless runner with the jumper. Control your character with the keyboard, and try not to fall down, by using the cloud platforms, branches, or by clinging to a tree on the left. Be careful - some of branches are begin falling, after you step on them. The cloud platforms are moving, but they stay on the screen. Along the way, collect coins and also the milk, which is needed to restore health, since there are many enemies on these money trees. ? If you have lost full four hearts or fall below the screen, game will be end.
  20. Hey everyone, I looked around for details on this but I am trying to determine the difference between the Physic types: Arcade, Impact, Matter to see what would be best for my type of game or to experiment with. I read in the Dev blogs that "Arcade" was meant for very simple physics in a game, while somewhere else I read that "Matter" was meant for debugging... I would like to know what the real differences are and which would make the most sense for a given game type. Does anyone know what the differences between the Physic types are? Thanks!!!
  21. So, I guess it's time to show my latest project to wide public: https://github.com/Guevara-chan/Ammo-0 Link to play it directly right now: https://guevara-chan.github.io/Ammo-0/main.html Ammo:0 is an experimental game prototype (with stock graphics so far), designed to explore and refine basic concepts of antoshooter subgenre. It features warped space, intense explosions, rockets, rockets and some more rockets. Did I said about rockets already ? Oh, right. Tell me what you think about concept itself and current premise.
  22. hi, because some issue, so i using group to create sprite as my colliders. var octopus; var colliders; var col; function create() { octopus = game.add.sprite(300, 200, 'octopus'); colliders = game.make.group(octopus, 'colliders', null, true, Phaser.Physics.ARCADE); octopus.updateTransform(); col = colliders.create(0, 0); col.body.setCircle(30, -30, -30); col.body.reset(colliders.worldPosition.x + col.x, colliders.worldPosition.y + col.y); game.debug.body(col, 'rgba(255,0,0,0.5)'); } function update(){ game.debug.body(col, 'rgba(255,0,0,0.5)'); } in the example, the body will flash to another point and then go back to the correct position. if i try to use Arcade Physics's overlap in two group. although two group is not overlap. that still cause overlap event. sorry about my english is not well

  24. Hi! I'm doing a school assignment about Phaser and I was wondering can someone explain the differences in Phaser 2 and Phaser 3 physics engines? Phaser 2 has: Arcade, P2 and Ninja physics and I know pretty much the differences in them. Phaser 3 has: Arcade, Impact, Matter and Multi physics, I guess the arcade is the same as in Phaser 2, but what about impact and matter? Can someone smarter than me explain how these work? Thank you in advance!
  25. (Pup)Pet! A minimalist yet colorful simple arcade timer-based game. The goal is to not have your line cut by the slices, while also keeping your pup well fed off dog bones (food meter is white bar across top) How long can you and your puppy last? If you could please give my game a quick play and leave some feedback on the itch.io page. Thank you all so much! A html5 browser playable game: https://suburb-boone.itch.io/puppet Made for the Weekly Game Jam
